Haha oh man, I do hate tripe but purely texturally. It's sooooooo spongy, I hate chewing it. But yeah, I know a lot of people naturally, as you did, foster a sense of connection to their food! But, so many others... yeah! It's a strange disconnect! It reminds me in a way of people who forget that human beings are animals.
