Yeah, like, if I hadn't gotten really back into the show this summer and re-watched the whole thing and obsessed over the meta, I would probably have just shrugged it off as a loss of funding (dropped animation quality) and some plot weirdness mixed with misunderstanding/over-crediting the earlier seasons.

But taking the show in as a whole, and then the entire.... fucking.... mess that is season 8 in comparison to the rest of it, it's just kind of fucking insane?
