I've closed my tabs and logged out of tumblr for what I suppose will be the last time.
I spent a decade on that site. It was my news, my social life, and my fandom hub.
Probably, I gave more of myself to it than I should have, really. But in return, I got so many things that I can't imagine finding anywhere else.
I don't know what I feel.
But, it is the dawn of a new day.

(The joke: it's the middle of the night in my time zone)

Date: 2018-12-29 12:42 pm (UTC)I really, really, highly recommend giving the OST a listen, and then, if you like it, checking out stuff about the Off Broadway version. They'll be On-Broadway soon, and... man, even though I prefer the vocals (and a lot of the cast) of the OST, they've improved everything about the show in so many wonderful ways.
This is my first time really caring about a musical--like, to the extent I am, anyway. I liked some movie versions of stuff like Chicago, I really REALLY like the Hamilton soundtrack, Heathers and Dear Evan Hansen is AWESOME, etc, but. I've never truly cared about a musical enough to keep up with the behind-the-scenes and the actual fandom like I am now.
So this is all just so new and exciting for me, haha.

Also means I tend to get blindsided by fandoms popping up. I'm still confused over why Newsies got a sudden popularity boost 1-2 years ago.
