I don’t watch Sarah Z, but I’m all for mocking cults with death tolls. (I mean, the KKK is ridiculous by any measure.)

This is more of a "ignore all the dead teens, kids will be kids! You're taking it too seriously, sexual abuse and attempted murder are normal hobbies for the youth!"
